You’ll have to copy the jbeam of the first fuel tank, rename the parts, then you have to go to blender, import the model of the car, copy the fuel tank and put it where you want it, rename the model and change the flexbody in the jbeam.

@wild raft I just want to say, your Vertex plane mod is awesome! It's surprisingly easy to fly and land this thing. I just wish you can independently control the rudder, have flaps, and even analog thrusters, as the truster input are interpreted as on or off.

This happened to me when I created a slot under the 200BX's engine slot, which would then have the engine slot that would allow the 6.9L V8 engine, which, for the D-Series and Roamer, is in the common folder, to spawn in the 200BX

However, the fuel tank ruptured, like you said, so I copied the JBeam file, gave it a different name and then put it in the coupe folder so that it was available for the 200BX, but didn't rupture the fuel tank

You should use a bevel over a solidify to get a nice edge

and turn on weighted normals on the bevel mod

another tip is to not model with subd on. make basic low poly shapes and gradually make them more detailed without distorting the actual curvature.

The configurations are stored in the vehicle folder. Usually a car mod would have the zip file: open zip file-- vehicles/carnamegoeshere/confignamegoeshere.pc

when i go into the asset browser and click on shapes and one of the folders that have been exported from blender, it seems to be loading all the textures and because there are a lot of them, beam seems to hang forever. i let it do this for 25 minutes but it still didn't do anything. is there any way to get around this?

the steeringwheellock is your real life wheel degrees divided by 2 usually for correct movement of ingame wheel according to your own wheel setting in controls settings so 900 set in controls would be 450 in there but the factor is how much wheels themselves turn.

you have to play around with them to see

for example try -0.5 and 0.5 or whatever

Just unpack those car file into mods folder so you can edit and make new mods.

unpack it into mods folder

Now you can overwrite fullsize values

extract vehicles folder from fullsize.zip into a folder you create called fullsize which you placed inside Unpacked folder which is located here : BeamNG.drive\0.28\mods

you can now edit fullsize parts or make new ones

but you must activate "fullsize" in mods in game first so effects take place.

just to not create a conflict and also let say you wanted to share it with other you now have no conflict issues when sharing it

i also create one jbeam with all my unique parts when sharing.

i created this one and it includes tires, gearbox, engine, flywheel and more all in one.

just so i could quickly make a simple mod for a friend to use.
