The gauges are kinda broke tho as it uses ESBR gauges for the Chiron‘s screen area
It also probably helps a lot that this thing uses Scintilla Jbeam
It does still have a bunch of quite obvious and lazy mesh slap aspects tho (parts that don’t actually work/are just leftovers from the scintilla)

It's not good but I have fun with it. It desperately needs tuning work though
Basically needs a new powertrain I think as it's using the vivace's but weirdly customized and it's either too fast or too slow, stupidly long range battery and the vehicle engines aren't set out right
Yeah it‘s quite incredible what a bit of tuning and changing the setup can do for these things, as long as they have a good Jbeam basis
And I think it's always RWD lol despite the real car having RWD or AWD so

It'll never be perfect, it needs a full remake which nobody will do ofc. But every so often I get to add the odd fix/improvement into it
As well as the custom main screen it now also has accurate colours (replacing the vivace colours) and updated configs/updated pictures for it. But there's not too much I can do

Yeah, but if the two two vehicles arent using the exact same values for the color data on their textures, your skins may show up differently.
As the base materials for the vehicles are not identical.

now what i mean by that is the DDS files are different from the PNG files, but just very slightly, only that both DDS files are "wrong" the same amount

The _r _b and _m files are not identical for the two cars.
So even though the values in your .json file are the same, they will render differently as the textures theyre read from are not the same.

Those different shades show up even from the smallest amount of color differences in those textures. xD

And the ETK and ETK 800 use different shades.
So your red will not appear the same even though youre using the same red.

Well, if you change the aspect ratio of an image, the game will use the whole image. But, your items on the different sized texture will not be the correct dimensions as the UV map was originally made for a 1:2

basically, ive been trying to make a laferrari for a while but its got a hybrid powertrain.
other mod related, ive tried a few times to mod twin engines in a car, and my only limitation has always been around the controls
ive gotten to a point where everything SHOULD in theory work, but only one transmission can shift. im missing some logic somewhere but im crapo at lua.
idk if this all wraps together seeing how one is 2 motors in 1 powertrain tree, and my other problem is shifting 2 transmission, aka 2 different powertrain trees.
but idk how much this would be possible for a future update, i feel that this game would benefit a lot from having more support over multiple shifting units and /or engines / hybrid related stuff.

May not directly correlate to X Y Z as you know, but will move them props.

Yea, iirc you just gotta map the textures and what triggers each thing
in the material as for textures

so the materials now, if, how and when does what get replaced
open the console and select vehicle lua on the bottom left
then type "dump(electrics.values)"
This shows all currently existing e-values that you could potentially use
when lowbeams are on, the "on" texture gets displayed as you assigned a max value of 0.3 for this function in your glowmap
