Hello, i am making a skin for the new covet for my friend, but i have an issue, once i managed to get the skin working, i noticed that all the parts that are meant to be UNPAINTED are painted (all plastic parts are suddenly painted), and all the grills have random part of the skin on them, the rear fascia is painted, front fascia has the same error showing just like the vivace has when theres more than 1 vivace in the session, and the engine bay has that error too, i only have 1 picture but im putting it here, thanks for any help. https://prnt.sc/hEe92OQ0HZ_d

I'd prefer not to have other people release versions of my own mods, mostly because it creates a "split" where my official version and the other version get updated with different stuff over time, and it can cause confusion as to who was responsible for the original.
If you're comfortable using (or learning to use) Git, I have a link to the source files for my mods in my forum thread (https://www.beamng.com/threads/overview-of-arcanoxs-hybrid-drivetrain.58363/). The source repository is on BitBucket and should be a public repository. You can always submit a Pull Request if you want to make your own improvements and then I'll be able to review them and see if they would fit in with the original mod 🙂

Okay, so I am by NO MEANS a modder (I've never even tried tbh-), but there's a mod for the Moonhawk that uses the intake slot for customization options that hold more than just carbs and the like. I believe one is "Ported intake + Alder carb + Race cam", another I can think of is "Alder carb + mild cam". TL; DR, it would be cool to make a mod like that for every engine. I might start learning more about modding to do it

I joke to myself about that a lot too. But to give them credit, its a very complex and rapidly evolving game. At least they have a lot of progress to show for their last decade in early access. Not a shot at all. I am impressed with the game. But I digress.

Still doesn't help much. If they don't laugh at you, they will politely advise you they feel it is a civil issue. No one is getting arrested/charged with a crime for leaking game content unless you do it to a big company with $$$, like Rockstar.
