you dont need mods for the sirens, they are available in the base game
just equip them to your vehicle
and be careful with that real car mod because it looks pretty sketchy (only download mods from the official beamng website or ingame repository)

also keep in mind that since 0.38 came out, sirens tend to crash the game

Ur right that HP = torque × rpm, but that only applies if the engine can actually reach that RPM under load. In reverse, a tank is heavily load limited.
gas engines like the R975/GAA make power higher in the rpm band, so in reverse they struggle and do not reach the max of 1200 RPM and reverse at 3 mph. The GM diesel makes torque low in the powerband, so it holds rpm under load 1800rpm to 5 mph. Same gearing different achieved rpm = different speed. Tanks don’t defy physics buddy you’re just ignoring the huge ass load they push.

charging is long because of cooling performance, as long as the battery is being cooled properly you can't really hit the chemical limitations of the batteries for charging with current chargers, also the most common use would just make you come home, charge overnight and you'd have enough battery for more than a day

if you take your current EV to go accross the country, you charge generally for 50 minutes, which is enough to take an actuall good rest from the road and actually forces you to be safer on the road after a lot of distance

the more you spend time driving at once the higher the chances you make a mistake and crash
