also one thing i do like about old beamng is that car in the game felt a bit more rigid which work better for older cars in beamng since old cars were a bit more tough than modern car

Back up your user folder to a new folder on your desktop. Then delete the user folder, run the game again to generate a new one, test if it’s fixed. Then copy back your configs, settings, odometer,etc

the police car's siren audio crashes the game. its something with the sirens and the doppler effect. it is from .38 and its from FMOD updating their audio engine and its just bugging out here. the devs cant really fix it. the only fix is to manually take off the sirens of the police cars
