beamng simulates crude atmosphere simulation. once you get 60 miles or so in the air the engine will stall and air resistance starts to go away.

shouldn't it only stall if it's a carbureted motor? any modern engine with fuel injection wouldn't have that issue unless theres literally no air

it might be the map you are on is set at a very high altitude to simulate a desert (?) enviroment

in beam it doesnt matter if its a carb or injection. they all are simuated the same in that regard. only difference is fuel usage and startup time

pull up the engine thermals debug and see if you are also starving the engine

it starts at sea level and climbs rapidly, there's probably a 20 degree incline at all times and ik the top altitude is around 45k feet if i remember correctly
