I haven't benchmarked them side by side, but I guess it would depend on how much the X3D cache and extra cores compares to higher CPU clock speed and DDR5 RAM. Most games do a little better FPS wise with the 7600X. I'd much rather have AM5 at this point. Atleast he can upgrade; I don't have an upgrade path til I switch to AM5/AM6
