but you see what i mean? its possible. but the entire track just isnt wide enough for an interesting f1 race, plus the tbone risk is too high (say someone gets wedged sideways and then some hits them, they will die. very common cause of death in open wheelers is tbone incidents or other stopped car gets hit by fast car type incidents)

I think that the cause of the original contact between drivers was because the steering wheel display of the other driver's car erroneously displayed a yellow flag, causing them to brake. Floersch couldn't have reasonably expected this, so they went into the back of them.
