So uh after the windows 10 incident I was forced to linux since my laptop couldn't handle windows 11, I went with mint, smooth and amazing, but when beamng downloaded.... can't even get passed the loading screen, right now it's just me and the MD series looking at each other, and my laptop is fully frozen, for your wonders yes it did run fine on windows 10, the only thing that i could think is about that "vulkan" thing that it said was downloading but since it seemed like it was not moving I went ahead and pressed "skip" i loaded in fine, changed the quality, graphics, yada yada, tried to load in grid map v2 but when ever it gets to loading the parts it freezes, so uhhh, should I let that Vulcan thing download? And would that fix the issue?

i own 2 thrustmaster products, t500rs with t3pa pro pedals, and the t16000m hotas set.

for the hotas, which was my first purchase, the potentiometer sensor in the throttle wore out after a year, and now requires me to screw open and clean it once every week, which afaik voided the warranty.
the rudder pedals have the same issue where the potentiometer is dying and has to be screwed open to be cleaned.

my T3pa pro pedals are just.... where do i start, absolutely dogshit quality, i've had to replaced 1 potentiometer sensor with an aftermarket hall effect, the 2 other pot sensors are failing and need to be replaced, it has snapped 3 springs, twice my brake pedal spring and once my throttle spring, the screws to open up the pedals are low quality and tiny so they instantly go dull and round out, meaning i've already had to use a dremel to remove 1 of them just so i could open the set up and fix broken parts.

the t500rs base itself is... fine, i bought it 2nd hand and got scammed, it has drop damage so i can't blame that on the wheel itself.
it feels terrible and i blamed thrustmaster for that for a long time untill like a week ago when i found out it had drop damage and bent the shaft.

the drivers for this wheel are terrible, i constantly have to replug it to redo the calibration because it only does it once when its first powered up, and then it randomly goes out of calibration, or the entire software just borks itself and i'm stuck reinstalling it 10 times before it works properly.
