Let me think how to explain it correctly. We all have different PCs, different GPUs, CPUs etc. Different teams have different tasks etc. And because of this, we can test the game on different setups. For example, if we find a problem on one setup we can check if the issue appears on another one. Or it's kinda specific for this exact setup
