I've been experimenting with engine notes and tuning sounds to see if I can get a nicer V6 sound.
This setup has the old V6 engine sound with the Automation V12 exhaust sound, with the engine sound turned way up and the exhaust sound turned way down.

I play on Vulkan. Although it provides a decent performance boost compared to DX11, it has a lot of lighting bugs.
And the FPS has already dropped below 100 on it.

By the way, does anyone know a convenient way to find a mod that breaks textures? I have about 650 mods, and some of them break certain textures. For example, all my standard tires now have the words “no texture” written on them. Of course, it's not very noticeable, but still...

And there are also problems with the windows on some of the stock cars; the texture of the headlights on some of the cars is smudged, and searching for impostors by going through all the mods is extremely tedious.

I check all the mods I download. The first thing I do when I start a new car is look at jbeam. If it's crooked, I don't even check the car further, I just delete it right away. If jbeam is normal, I run a couple of crash tests, check for tuning, and only if everything suits me, the mod goes into the folder where the cars are stored.

I'm so tired of modders naming mod files with incomprehensible names that I lost my temper and started changing the names of the archives to the name of the machine, right up to the year of release.

The downside of some mods downloaded from non-official sites is that the modder doesn't know how to optimize them properly, like 8k textures for the exhaust pipe or a steering wheel with 15k polygons.

The version of windows doesn't particularly matter (Windows 7 and something else aren't supported anymore iirc) but office laptops are not meant for gaming and will not run the game well. Does depend on the laptop but under most circumstances it won't do the greatest

I hope we will get an new map soon, like in 2026-2027. We haven’t had a new map in very long and it would be very refreshing. I know that their priorities are not on adding new maps but it would still be nice. Especially cause I don’t really have any modded maps that I like as much as the vanilla maps.

Especially an Asian map would be nice
