I obviously don't have a direct drive but since beamng has to simulate the wheel actually turning affecting how your wheel turns (like during straightening out of a corner or also when you turn the wheel using node grabber) it's really wonky imo on a t248 I know this doesn't help in any way but don't expect much from ffb in this game

it feels as if the power steering fluid reservoir is running dry but when you whip a corner hard enough it kicks back in and sometimes lightens up

but basically when you split down you go to a throttle position where theres 0 torque (not engine braking at all), it splits out, you release throttle for the rpms to drop (usually not needed tho) and it goes right into the split lower gear

for split ups when you put the splitter up you once again have to put the throttle to a 0 torque position, it will split out of gear and then throttle up to the rpm for the gear and it will split into gear automatically

its similiar to rev matching except it goes into gear automatically without you actually moving the shifter

it just snapped, and my throttle spring snapped 2 days like this aswell

when i replaced my brake spring, i also put in this new throttle spring since the stock spring was so light i had no feeling, but the replacement throttle spring snapped, so i still have the original throttle spring but its sooo light and its such a pain to screw this pedal set open

ok well I do have one issue with the t3pm the throttle pedal has a little bit of sideways play somehow

thrustmaster is just dogshit quality, but better pedals are sooooo much money, so the only option i have is find a really really good deal on 2nd hand or buy TLCM pedals from... thrustmaster

thrustmaster is singlehandidly ruining 2 of my hobbies, my TM t16000m is terrible quality and needs to be screwed open every week to be cleaned, and my t500rs is a worn out belt driven wheel and these t3pa pro pedals keep breaking because its terrible quality

i had to, the metal on my pedals (hey that rhymes) is leaving black spots and hurt my feet, socks kept getting ripped up, so i bought these cheap boat shoes, very light and maliable, but they smell like the most chemical plastic when they heat up and absorb sweat
