But next time, maybe try to get a more centered shot of a parked car, I promise u it makes quite a big difference, it might take longer to set the angle and height right rather than if u were to take a quick shot while walking, but just staying still for 3 sec and having a steady hand can produce some good results

awesome, they aren't bad cars. never personally sat in one or gone round in one but they are decent bits of kit. a lot better than the diesel astra's that were floating about for about 5-7 years. Astra's are still used of course, especially here in Lincolnshire. Eventually to be all replaced by Toyota Corolla's, 3008s and 308s. Peugeot must be making bank of this tbh

They also look great in photographs actually, especially when they are all clean

Any tips on some car photography? I wish my neighbors light was off for this and that my cars headlights were on

Taken on a 15 second exposure at the dead of night with a iso of 70, this is a 3.5x zoom cropped

(Yes this is my car, yes I'm still waiting to get it repaired)

I really like how the light reflecting on the right side of the car came out, maybe I'll do it in a parking lot with a lower exposure

look into composure, watch a few videos on it
taking photos with intention is your first step toward getting better
also just keep go out and taking photos, consistency and practice is the MOST important thing for photog

this was me 8 months ago as a beginner, didnt know a thing about photography

it takes a lot of practice and experimentation, but this is where i've progressed to over the course of 8 months
learn masking when editing, it helps a lot too

and i dont mean to flex by posting these, i just want to show that all it takes is practice! 👍 💯

How would u say could I improve from this

look up some videos on composition as i mentioned earlier,

when you take photos ensure you straighten the lines in the photo that should be straight
often it’s the horizon, but when there isn’t a horizon you need to look at the buildings around the car and do it

i like your first photo, i think it’s framed nicely. just continue practicing your editing and learn how to use masks

for front/back shots, always look up from your camera and physically centre yourself on the cars centre; this makes it much easier to centre your shot

a general rule of thumb that i use is to place the car on the lower horizontal third, and pick my
height & straighten accordingly
and just practice, you’ll get better that way

just because your subject is a car does not mean you only look at the car, find ways to bring the photo together
