The fastest I've gone in a normal car, completely street-legal with stock parts except for a race long block and slick rear tyres, I think the Scintilla has some inherent aerodynamic instability at 457km/h because that's when the active spoiler deploys, and where RWD, 1:1 AWD and non-exploded long blocks all spin out without the spoiler, and where non-slick tyres spin out even with the spoiler

hey guys im currently having some issues with vanilla cars that ive changed files with not the jbeam but the dae file i tried uninstalling the game threw steam but when i reinstall the game it just insalls as it was before how do i fully uninstall the game so that when i install it again it downloads as if ive installed it for the first time

Trail braking means weight shift to the front so inducing rear instability, you'd need to work on basically anything that induces oversteer but only touching the rear

btw i'll also explain the thought process behind the anti roll decrease on the rear so you can improve too, trail braking induces a weight shift on the front, make the rear lift and since you're turning aswell it shift diagonally, leaving the inside rear tire lifting even more, having a stiff anti roll makes the wheels stay more parallel to the body, making wheels lift under weight shifts

increase rear body roll on braking makes the rear keep a bit more surface area and mass on the ground

you can also do the opposite changes on the front but i would advise agains't it since it affects more regular cornering

The only F1 vehicle mods I know of are quite old and not the best quality. There's a popular F4 car mod but that's obviously not going to be as fast. If you want race tracks, there's tons of cool mods to choose from

It's slidenodes and their rails. Which means nodes/car parts that move along the shown axis. So many of them suggest moving parts in those places, however the nodes can also be made fixed to the rail and act as a rigid connection so we don't know where what is the case. Frame rails on the MD and T-series use them too for internal suspension and upfit mounting points and the fact they are not shown either means it's a different car or it's just turned off so you can see the rest better

Did you switch over to Linux? Was performance fine on windows on your PC? Otherwise if you only used Linux on the PC it could be a specs issue. But I don’t use Linux, so I can’t be sure, however it should actually have better performance than windows due to optimisations, and as far as I know it performs well on SteamOS (at least, for a handheld steam deck)

connect it to a trailer (im pretty sure at shipyard where they do this they either leave a dolley on the trailer or when hooking it up for the first time use some sort of skidsteer or equipment) then if the trailer thats connected to the truck doesnt have a pintle then select it in the selector, then back it up and click the pintle boxes to open it, then back up then close it

Yea I think all diesel engines use the same sound files, just with different exhausts on them. Found this out when I tried to make a new diesel engine for the D-series and looked at wha sound to use. They have different names but sound indentical

oh its nothing bad 😄, just forcing us mods to change the leaderboards. basically prior to this update, the only "missions" on the leaderboards were the 'scenarios' you could play from the main menu. Now however, all of the missions are available from the main menu and mixed together with those that were previously there. So now we will have probably 2x as many "scenarios" and we might have to rename them "missions" instead 😛

it's overall a mostly good thing, just some work for the mods and potentially more work for verfiers haha

Ah I see ok, I was worried for a mo that we hurt something.
We are trying to move away from the quickraces, which are the Time Trials that are accessible from the main menu. In the last year we havemade missions that replicate all of the quickraces, so there is a counterpart for everything in that section now.
Finally it can be accessed from the main menu, however, one thing remains, mission setup from the main menu, laps, reverse, vehicle etc.

Hopefully that will come next 🤞

We probably will get passenger vehicles and/or more passenger vehicle remasters in the coming updates - the devs like to flip-flop between large trucks/offroaders/older cars (0.9-0.15, 0.28-0.37) and light trucks/passenger vehicles (0.3.8.1-0.8, 0.16-0.27). Yeah, I do hope that the Miramar gets a six- or eight-cylinder engine as an option in the future - it's gotten more power in 0.37 (up to 500 hp without nitrous), but you're not able to use that power reliably.

At least it's slightly better off than the LeGran, which is capped at ~340 hp at its absolute maximum without nitrous (the lowest of the regular passenger cars, about tied with the Aurata, and only above the Stambecco, Pigeon/Wigeon, and Wydra). The LeGran also has terrible aerodynamic drag, so that 340 hp doesn't go as far for top speed.
