Hello, is someone able to help with a query? I'm trying to create a skin for the Gavril T-Series with the 26ft Dry Van Upfit on the back (which i'm using on career mode) but on the skin editor in game its not letting me add any decals on the upfit, is this a function thats not in the skin editor yet or am i missing something

I know that upfit skins are selected seperately in the parts selector, so either you can switch to make an upfit skin or it's not possible

From the looks of it the upfit section isn't selectable for decals cause its not classing it as an actual part of the vehicle due to the T-Series having chassis variations

Nah I never have driveshaft issues even on a drag car with it (burnside on the other hand) but you can kick out the rear axle if you hit it in anything pretty easy

how can i diagnose a memory leak that started overnight, with no mod or configuration changes?
i kid you not, but with any car on any map, the game uses 4gb ram or so.
when i accelerate, the game goes 500ms, then freezes for 500ms, then goes for 500ms, and so on...
in task manager - each freeze = increase of ram usage by like 1-2gb
it gets exponentially higher until it eats all my ram, at like 32GB usage

when i stop the car, sometimes (!) it goes down to 4GB, but task manager still reports 94% memory usage, just without the red.

ive checked console for errors and stuff - nothing
also listed potentially broken mods - no idea

have done deep cache clean, integrity check, and steam files verify

what could potentially cause this

yea yea, its not happening in safe mode so its a mod

but how would i diagnose which mod that is? its not even something im actively seeing or using, like a car, app, map... like idk where its present ingame

i kinda wanna find it rather than dumping all my 310 prized mods and starting from scratch

and i used this exact mod configuration for many months without issues, i have been back on beamng for a week now 0 issues, and suddenly this started overnight with no mod changes from me, and mod auto updates off!

performance mostly seems to be the same but things are overall worse everywhere else

cars still just randomly stop

like, I've solved the performance thing by just throwing an oversized cpu at the game

but even then it feels like the ai is fundementally not designed to have more than, say, 12 cars around active

and the recent optimizations seem to have fuck-all for performance

More context/the source of my confusion: Me and a friend occasionally try to see how fast of a drag time we can get with mods, and now that the drag strip on east coast usa has been updated we were playing around again. Before, the manual transmissions were the only thing that could deal with mods like MEOs drag engines or the 454LSX mod because torque converters dont lock up at that rediculous hp levels. Now though, the engines are just useless because the clutch just slips and overheats.

If race clutches have never been a thing and im just halucinating them, i wish they were considering you can change the torque converter on autos, but not their equivelent for manuals.
