I can't know for sure, but I do know that mods can cause the menu wheel to fail if the mod is outdated. I know this because I had this issue issue the below linked mod, if you have then remove it. If not, then check broken mods in the mods menu on the right side.

This afternoon I was playing BeamNG.drive from the Nvidia Geforce app, and I noticed two major bugs that weren't happening before the release of the new version: the fast menu doesn't go away drom the screen on every map apart from Utah and Italy, and the only map that shows the speedometer is Utah's one. I don't know if this was a server issue from the app, but I definitely thought that it could be useful to tell.
you can disble and enable the speedometer in the gui apps tab in free ride

Custom made "Arrive" missions are broken and instead of sending the player to the correct final location they send the player to the default spawn point
Both newley made and existing. Have yet to try with any Vanilla Arrive missions
bx: overfenders mesh issue still unfixed

and other texture/mesh issues are still the same as I can see...
The entire game stops working if I have any automation cars. I've been playing both BeamNG & Automation for over a year and never had these issues until yesterday when the new update came out. When I try to load Freeroam, Time Trials, or any other game mode, the game shuts down.
My other mods (like the autobahn mod) work just fine.
If I try to load ANY map while having automation cars, the game crashes when I click "Spawn".
Anyone else having issues with trailers? Canโt open doors

but as was pointed out to me Vulkan doesn't use DX11? its it's own thing isn't it? and Normal Beam (Which still uses DX11) works fine
Vulkan is a completely different graphics api

That's weird. Try using a a new career mode save without mods. Probably a memory leak or sumthing

i've noticed the bollard prop has two of the ref nodes not connected to the main Jbeam, which was fine before cluster teleporting where added, but now it messes up cluster rotations after it's been teleported with F7

new ui tuning menu doesnt have a slot for load box mass. if you go to the old ui it has it but the new does not. this is a tragedy for cargo load box enjoyers like myself

Yes, but only the bus signs. You could drive trough other signs, so they made the bus sign like that too so that it is consistent with the others

issue with rear right turn signal on new car that used to not work on some models still has an issue! the left blinker has a glow around it when it lights up and the right one does not!
i didn't get a picture and will recheck later but when delivering to spearleaf island in career mode, the roads leading to spearleaf just weren't there and i dropped into the ocean

The openable feature was working for me before the 0.31 update

If you use the player vehicle in career race missions and let it repair beforehand, the race will start with the vehicle's engine turned of and the gearbox in parking mode.

I'm not sure if this is a feature but the steering rack of the T series snaps when doing an evasive manoeuvre at 60km/h
Change texture quality from lowest to low (really anything else).
Also reporting this, same issue shows up with certain assetto Corsa map ports (scimitar73 oulton park). Hotfix did not fix it

Triangular cabin in the redwood forest on west coast appears to have floating stairs. terrain is sunken below where the stairs end. not a massive bug, but noticeable for anyone who regularly enjoys this part of the map. bug has been there since i first got the game
just noticed, regular shape cabin has floating stairs too on the right front side facing the road.
the Wheel Slot Steel does not collider with the same type of wheels and the alder rush wheels also dont collider with each other.

Trace width is bigger than actual tire width, it became more noticeable on Bruckell Nine with its slim tires
It seems the drag race time slips are flipped at the very bottom.
My car (a Bruckell Nine in the right lane) beat a Scintilla in the left, but it shows they won instead of me

equipping the silver alder vulcan wheels on the front causes the new car to just fly off with this error message lmao? it doesn't happen with the two tone alder vulcans so i honestly have no idea what's happening

update: this seems to be a bug with the sunburst six speed DCT
if you go from D to R when you're in sixth, then go back to drive, it will break as shown
Most likely to be caused by a corrupt or incompatible mod. Try deactivating all of your mods and see if the issue persists.

Headlights (upon activation) make the game stutter hard on a 7900XTX under Vulkan, and generally perform worse compared to 0.33. The Bruckell Nine interestingly is not affected by the stutter. I've run the game from different drives, used the deep cache cleaning tool, and reset shader cache in gpu settings. Wiping save data and starting from scratch only mitigated the issue a bit for smaller vehicles, but the issue does still exist. Video examples below are from a fresh appdata folder with only vehicle configs uimaps inputmaps & player stats carried over from my main save. 0.33.3.0.17209 on the left and 0.34.1.0.17494 on the right.

The more lights you put on the car, the more it will stutter. This custom config you made has lots of lights so it makes the issue far worse

i'm aware of the more lights taking up more resources, that's why i picked that vehicle to demonstrate the difference. the problem that i'm having is that on the previous version the lights only stutter my game once and then it never really drops below my target 60fps due to the headroom i've got. on the latest version it's every time and there's a noticeable pause even with locked fps. it's reminiscent of shader compilation or similar but i don't know the technical stuff. i feel the stutters even in a bx with just the diana front end and no more auxiliary lights

Yello, just wanna report 2 little things, first of all, in the pic, the performance app is stuck there when I open the radial menu, it's not on my regular app screen, just there when I open the menu. This has been an issue since 0.33.
Next issue is since the update, I notice that ai tends to rear end itself quite a bit more, causing traffic jams. Also stop randomly after an accident, like the ones coming from the opposite side of the crashed cars stop even if their side is completely clear. Idk if it's just me but yeah. That's about it
Oh and offset headlight reflections

Hello everyone, am I the only one having a very big drop in fps after update 0.34? My FPS goes from 150FPS to 30FPS then it goes back up then back down (I'll provide you with a video which shows this just below). Let me point out that I have never had this problem before. Dont know if this is a bug or was intended, but I cannot mix match colors on career vehicles by respraying, removing, then respraying and re-adding the original colored part. Color customization for the T-series was limited and this was the only way to make unique and personal builds. (such as my personal config from pre 0.34 in the photo).

I have an issue in career mode. I know that this mode is still in developpement but this is kinda game breaking. My issue is the the insurance reniews every 3 minutes or so. At 360$ it doesnt matter how fast I drive I just keep on loosing money no matter what.

Running Light and Reverse Light are named the wrong way for the new car

- left light is set to running light but is acting as reverse light
- right light is set to reverse light but does not shine when in reverse
The performance since the update is abysmal I used to get 40+ fps max graphics full traffic on wcusa now I get about 10 fps 1 car no traffic itโs unplayable atm

I don't think it was like this last update so must be a new issue from the update
Not a bug. The engine just canโt do it because heavy duty isnโt made for high rpm, just high power at lower rpm.

definitely a bug, the engine are able to reach those high rpm but they will be damaged if they are at high rpm for too long
And because heavy duty isn't Made for high rpm, they usually have weak high rpm powerband
If i delete my tires the car wont shift up and it will redline at 30mph unless i do it manually, not sure what cars this happens to
Itโs the case for multiple cars using i5 and i4. If it was a bug it wouldnโt be the case. I donโt know why devs did this but it was intended for sure.

when doing a burnout and your car isnt moving but tires are there isnt any smoke

For some reason with the D-Series, if you use the 15x9 Off-road steel wheels with the off road front suspension, the front would just disassemble unless you remove the steering rack

After rigourous tests, I can now say that this seems to be a fluke, the steering racks of the different T-Series cabs and systems only seem to fail on direct impacts or strong stress, mainly due to the front bumper preventing movement of the steering arms and snapping them

The game does not properly save sub-parts in configs. Wheels as an example. I applied 15 inch wheels, however the game still saves the 18 inch tires from the previously applied wheels!
This doesn't only affect wheels but any part with sub-parts that have not been manually changed by the player. It saves properly as soon as something in the sub slot was changed

i think try going to your button mapping and change the Lightbar button assignment to another button. that's IF you discover that the Headlights and Lightbar button assignment are the same. For example: If Lightbar's assignment is Button 8 and the Headlight's assignment is also Button 8, change one of them to another button.

If you deliver hazardous waste from one company to the harbor, you get like 50cents max per liter. If you load at two companies and then go to the harbor, you get more than 1 dollar per liter. I made 22K with 17.000L
then this would be the right spot to report it (not sure if it's actually a bug but yeah this would be the right spot)

No, it's a 'generic' Bluetooth controller for computers and phones. The issue is that the L2 and R2 buttons on the controllers don't have a 'pressure sensor' like the PlayStation controllers or the triggers on the Xbox... In my case, I use L2 to downshift and R2 to upshift. Before the latest updates, this didnโt happen. Every time I try to downshift, the car brakes, and when I try to upshift, it accelerates.
This axis activation error doesn't happen in other games.

I donโt have some sort of proof, but thereโs a bug with the radial wheel where when you exit the radial menu the wheel stays there now this is a way around this by going into settings and backing out which will fix it for THE CURRENT GAMING SESSION if you reload the game it will happen again yes there is a way around it but itโs quite common and other individuals may not now a solution

Hey guys, here a video of what I think is a money glitch.
I loaded Hazardous Fluid from Sealbrik and the steel factory. Then I deliver it at the refinery's harbor and get way too much payed for it.
I also noticed that the Unloading screen show that I got reputation from Sealbrik and not from the steel factory.
This way I make around 80K per hour.
Load Hazardous Fluids from 2 companies and get double the price per liter fluid delivered.

In Career Mode, the "Tertiary Color Interior" on the Bluebuck seems to only give me a white interior, regardless of which color I set the tertiary to. I haven't checked this in free-roam yet.
When using the new UI to change or save colors, it will reset the configurations like Metallic, roughness, clear coat, etc, or either 0% or default

Is anyone else having the sim freak out when putting the 14in Vulcan wheels on the Bruckell nine?
Car flies to top of map and becomes a ghost. Any attempt to spawn a new car results in new car disappearing like the first. All this on the regular, non-vulkan version of the sim.

If you have BeamMP enabled in the mod manager it will load with the old UI, which doesnโt have certain buttons. If you do not have beamMP enabled then the devs should look into this
I accidentally uninstalled the rear fascia of my (career mode) Gavril Bluebucks (both of them), and when I went to re-install them, one of them is showing the wrong mileage. (I made sure to install the correct ones onto the corrects cars) 139,307mi is the car that's having the issue, 138,136mi is the car that isn't having the issue.
As well, does anyone know of a way to manually change the mileage on the affected parts?

Hey, I got this problem when I try to launch the game. it'll start but than it will turn into a transparent tab on my desktop, I don't know what I can do about it
uninstall, and then reinstall, if that doesn't work, try to find the 0.34 folder (the "user folder", I guess it's called?), and delete that, then uninstall and reinstall, also delete (or move to a new folder) any and ALL mods you have before doing this.
That's what made it work for me, but I'm still presuming it's a bug, because it shouldn't happen with the base game with no mods.
(I had the same problem, with the base game [no mods].)

That's because you're probably using Agent Y's car values mod which has a config called the "Arsonic" or something. Not a game issue.

i had voicemod installed and it was causing some microphone issues so i uninstalled it while beamng was open and now beamng doesnt have any audio. im sure it has something to do with the audio drivers or something but every other application i have makes audio as usual. any idea how to fix this?

Despite the UI claiming the game is paused, the timer for missions still counts down.
Hard to explain without a video but the game is constantly missing shifts when in manual with manual clutch.
as in when you Clutch in > Shift > clutch out the game doesnt register the shift and sits you in neutral. the h pattern shifter is in position 2.
Sometimes this can be fixed by clutching in and out again without touching the shifter, sometimes you still stay stuck in neutral.
Checked in Asetto Corsa and im not seeing any missing inputs.

I adjusted the y axis of left mirror to 20 with x axis remained at 0. the next time I reopened the adjusting page, the x axis showed -20, while y axis was 0. Though the actual reflecting image of the left mirror remained the same which u can see from the screenshots, so it should be a digit display bug.

To be more specific, if I try to use a police lightbar, whether it's a vanilla or modded light bar, I get an error, and it does that thing where I get all the messages that the car basically exploded and the simulation pauses.

I was doing the Vehicle Delivery Mission in East Coast USA, when I got this gigantic semi truck. I spawned on a very tight dirt road that I almost got stuck on, but still made it. When I made it to the destination (the alley behind the shops), I tried parking, but my truck physically could not fit in the space the game provided. I tried parking for 5 minutes, but it was getting increasingly difficult because traffic was ramming into me. I tried to get rid of the ram plow for 10 minutes, but no luck.
Either the developers need to remove this specific config and other big configurations from being able to be spawned, or they need to restrict certain places you can deliver with big configurations.

when i ctrl + r while in cinematic camera in free roam, the camera gets stuck and slow motion is disable. Using f7 does not work to fix it. Respawning does not work to fix it. Using slowmo does not work to fix it. Free cam fixes the camera, but when you exit free cam, it goes back to the same location.
Discovered this about a year ago, but you can rip the intake off of the vehicle with the node grabber going as fast as possible into the air. Then the vehicle can drive underwater.

don't really know if this is a bug, but with some objects in world editor, when you select them, the object's movement point doesn't match, like for example the highway tunnel in italy, the movement point is miles away from the actual mesh

Glitch i found when i have ai on the roads and then start tabbing through them they start spawning off the map because they couldn't find a road to spawn on, when all the ai cars i change to are on roads.
happens with all vehicles just is harder, i made it happen with the lansdale, idk why it happens though, maybe something to do with the camera shake going past were it should and then snapping to a 90 degree increment?

I previously sent a bug report on the Rock Basher but never heard back. Maybe it would be better discussed on here, but when the front suspension bottoms out kind of hard it gets bent in a way that limits down-travel afterwards. These same impacts are easily absorbed by the D-series prerunner, Dunekicker and Aurata with no damage. Being that the Rockbasher is heavily inspired by Ultra 4 trucks and rock bouncers I think it should be substantially stronger. Thanks in advance for any input. This was an all vanilla config.
The new parts selector search is broken, it can only find general stuff like "engine" or "transmission", but if you write a specific engine name, e.g. "5.7" it returns nothing.

I noticed that whenever you make material changes in blender and export dae, beam.ng a bit buggy with updating materials. Anyone any idea how to clear cache every time i put a new updated mod? EDIT: clearing cache is the only solution but it takes really long to clear using Launch game > Support tools > Clear cache because it does some "Integrity check" which takes really long even for the latest i9 intel processor and gpu 4090

Launching BeamNG in Vulkan mode has never worked for me until just now. Usually it would sit idle in the background, and do nothing. Basically seemed like vulkan doesn't launch. I would have to close it through task manager. Reinstalling vulkan runtime didn't fix the issue. Nothing I attempted would fix my issue, and it seemed no one else was experiencing the same issue as me.
I just found a solution. The solution for me was to go to folders "C:\Windows\System32" and "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" and delete every file that contained "vulkan" in it's name.
Once all files have been deleted, I had to launch BeamNG Drive, and try to run in Vulkan mode again. It would give me a critical error stating that my computer may not have the requirements to run the game in vulkan.
It was only after I tryed BeamNG without vulkan installed and got the critical error, is when I reinstalled vulkan again. After reinstalling vulkan, launching BeamNG Drive in vulkan mode actually launches and works now.

Only install the "Runtime Installer", not the "SDK Installer".
I installed version 1.2.198.1. I imagine any newer version works as well.

The conventional Gravil T series day cab and sleeper configuration trucks that are equipped with the 'standard interior' have two small distinctive visual gaps showing the outside environment at the corner edges to the back of the cab just above and behind both the driver and passenger seats. These gaps can only be seen from inside of the cab, this issue is also still present in safe mode.

will the issue be fixed eventually? im also having issue when entering the second island on West Coast, USA, the highway to get to the island isnt loading this screenshot was taken on the BeamMP mod but its the same issues on the normal game, some of the objects at the Service Station is also floating.
This may be a mod issue but as I said they are still developing vulkan support
By mod issue I mean maybe the map is corrupted/missing files, either redownload it or verify integrity
so i tried to download a edited west coast usa map but it was a old version, is there anyway i can revert to the new version i tried deleting the levels and it still comes up the same

yep just tested everything on the map, no floating objects, everything is now rendering correctly, also lost no configs/settings!

whats your current offset? if its not at 0 then try 0
if the offset is too high, the game might think that the wheel is broken and break.
some wheels end up super close to the hub and break off easily, seen with the 15x9? wheels on certain suspension on the D series
its fixed by increasing the wheel offset to make them farther from the hub

Iโve encountered this, I just move it to the spot and reproject it, because if you modify it it doesnโt like it and snaps it close to another decal somewhere else. Not too sure if itโs intended but it probably shouldnโt happen because itโs annoying at times

Happens when loading into career mode, no mods. If you own a 1980s ETKI, it gives this error and will not load Career Mode (it'll sit at the "Vehicle Loading Done" stage indefinitely.) I created a completely new profile in order to try to solve this problem, and bought the ETKI as my first car on that profile, when loading into that profile after saving and closing the game, it gives this error, same as the broken save. The error does not stay on screen long enough for me to click it, and does not open anything or respond if I do manage to click it (I've managed ONCE).
No mods, new install, verified files, deep cleaned cache, rebooted game, rebooted computer. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this.
Since the last update, my game is lagging and fps is fluctuating . If i remove traffic then it works fine. Traffic is set to auto and parked vehicles is disabled. Gpu 4070, latest gen i7 and 32gb of ram. Safemode enabled

Even if I go into the career save (made a new save, starting over completely since the old save is broken thanks to the ETK-I...), and change the car's colors manually (and save them), the new colors (and new parts) don't save in the car's file (if I save it manually, they revert on start-up), even though they work fine in-game... I'm suspecting this is the reason why the interior color won't change in career-mode on the Bluebuck, and why the steering-wheel color doesn't change on the Burnside Special.
Interior is set to tertiary color. When I set it to secondary (default) it's black. (My apologies if I'm being annoying with this; I'm not trying to be annoying, I'm just trying to get as much info on this issue -- and make it available to the devs -- as I can.)

Seems like mods that add time trials and scenarios break them from appearing in free roam mode.

I understand vr is experimental (hence why I'm writing this "report") hardware:rtx4050m,i5 13500h, meta quest 2. I've tried meta air link, the link cable, and steam link. I've determined it's an issue with the vehicle cameras. when using vr(not in the world editor) briefly a different camera perspective is displayed. After opening the world editor, and using that camera(the editors camera) there is no issues.

My license plates always read BEAMNG no matter what, on vanilla cars. Modded cars either don't have a license plate or share the same issue. Part selector says that there aren't any plates equipped, and equipping one changes nothing. I don't have any mods relating to license plates installed.

I run 100 fps normal, 70 fps high. No ultra. Version is too old to have traffic or multiplayer
i run 120 on high and normal depending on if i have traffic/multiplayer, but changing settings makes it die
