During the Indian-Pakistani War of 1971 the PNS Hangor obtained the first confirmed submarine kill post-WW2 against the INS Khukri. So being on the receiving end of the first submarine kill post WW2 and having the third/forth submarine kill occur in their "backyard" certainly fits the "egg on the face" moniker IMO.

I believe the account is correct that some tankers have retrograded back into Europe, but the "why" is going to be far more complicated. The aircraft could be pulling back for a variety of reasons, including to "tow" even more fighters in to the AOR. PSAB has hardened aircraft shelters for tactical fighters but not for tankers and bombers.

I've seen that before as well. It's not always a psyop, sometimes people automate news reposting to their own followers. Sometimes it's [ethically dubious] folks who want to build a following via folks treating it like a news service too.

A new satellite navigation interference pattern was detected off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah starting at 15:00 UTC yesterday. Unlike the typical single-point clustering commonly associated with signal jamming, this interference creates the appearance of vessels moving in a straight line toward the Strait of Hormuz, even though the vessels are not actually following that trajectory.
Further analysis using #MarineTraffic playback confirms that this movement is artificial. Vessel tracks show clear inconsistencies when compared with simultaneous vessel movements and reported headings, indicating that the apparent transit is the result of navigation interference rather than real vessel activity.

There doesn't seem to be much out there specifying which models, but they reportedly have a variety.

Both the USN and RN recently removed their mine countermeasures vessels from Bahrain. The USN has several Littoral Combat Ships with MCM modules in the region, although they are outside the Gulf. The RN has some air-deployable nascent autonomous minehunting capability, but this is not yet fully mature and deployment to the Gulf would be a very steep learning curve."

I would invite caution to assume there is intentionality in giving the impression that ships are flowing when it could be an artifact from the GPS spoofing that there is in the area because of, well, being a war zone.
Yes, there is clear evidence that the spoofing is making it look like ships crossing the strait, but none to my knowledge (happy to be corrected) that it's being done in an intentional way to reflect it

2/ Maybe the lead is that the war goals DO NOT involve destroying Iran's nuclear weapons program. This is, uh...surprising...since Trump says over and over this is a key goal.
But then of course we already know air strikes can't wipe out their nuclear material.
3/ Second, they confirmed "regime change" is also NOT on the list. So, they are going to spend hundreds of billions of your taxpayer dollars, get a whole bunch of Americans killed, and a hardline regime - probably a MORE anti-American hardline regime - will still be in charge.
4/ Ok, so what ARE the goals? It seems, primarily, destroying lots of missiles and boats and drone factories.
But the question that stumped them: what happens when you stop bombing and they restart production?
They hinted at more bombing. Which is, of course, endless war.
5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open.
Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.

None of our tankers do, nor ever have. The -135 is the only one that is technically able to be bailed out of, but that's through a chute in the cockpit that was designed for the Nuke Alert era for when the tanker has offloaded the last of its gas to its assigned bomber.

I live in UAE. They’ve been restricting reporting/recording because people have been posting videos of launch sites and sharing AI generated videos of hits. A lot of X accounts were also blocked. I start hearing interceptions 1-2 minutes after every EWS alert. If I need instant updates, local subreddits have had daily mega threads. Al Jazeera has been the most accurate with the type of strike and emirate, but all that’s coming from MOD and it’s vague.

You can't tell if the top of it is just dark enough that it's run out of colours to display it. If it was painted black it would be completely impossible to tell. There's even a straight line that's slightly darker at the spot in the lit image where a pointy big is. Could be an artifact, could be the top of the fin.

If that's the exact same plane as earlier then fair enough. But there's also some other weird artefacting in the picture like here, it looks like the plane is slightly see through. It also looks weirdly clean if it was a break. Just saying I don't think its clear enough to say for sure the top is missing.

Assuming both planes are in level flight, is there anything that would swipe from the top like that besides the deployed refueling probe? Two tankers colliding in mid-air with damage like that makes me think that an incident during tanker-to-tanker fueling is the cause.

The 31st MEU is permanently deployed to Japan and operates in the INDO-PACOM region, but it is now being ordered to head to the Middle East.
Its deployment does not mean that the unit is going to be used as a ground force for use in Iran, but it offers land, amphibious and aviation assets that can be available to military commanders if needed.
This particular MEU also includes a squadron of F-35 fighter jets and a squadron of MV-22 tilt rotor Osprey aircraft.

The pictured Tomahawk is hitting nearby, but confirms that the area is being hit with American munitions at the time the school was hit. All of this is hard evidence that the school's general vicinity was being attacked by American bombs. I would not assume that it was "obviously" an AI target or that the US military did not know it was a school. Given the current US administration's approach to war and given Israel's use of the "AI targeting" alibi early in the Gaza war for what we know was a deliberate campaign to depeople northern Gaza, I think it is totally unwarranted to assume that this massacre can be attributed to AI or flawed intelligence. The days of automatically assuming that the US does not intentionally hit such targets should have ended when Trump said "When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don’t kid yourself. When they say they don’t care about their lives, you have to take out their families."

Which people are claiming that and which drones are we talking about? Because as far as I know all we have seen are russian components in some Shaheds, which makes sense since Geran-2 are the same but made in Russia.
Also note that Russia is unleashing plenty of drones into Ukraine every day and that will remain their priority, so any transfer of drones from Russia to Iran would be both very interesting and require strong evidence.
I'm not saying that this isn't happening, just that I want to look deeper into this and I would like to check it myself, so sharing who your sources are would be very welcome

Well I also think that it's prudent to be skeptical of the state goals of this war (even before they changed them again, and again, and again), but it is not necessarily at odds with their goal of demoralizing and collapsing the IRGC. I lean closer to accident based on the context and facts, but I definitely leave room open for the idea that the US military, like the administration, is adopting concepts and morals from their Israeli ally.

Following up on this, I did a bit of analysis of the video (taken from the X account, with high resolution). At around second 00:57 there is this frame, where it is possible to see 15/03/2026 date. No idea what the rest says, however. There is also to say that mostl likely most men are security guards, especially the one outside the building, and the fact that it's completely foggy/opaque outside makes it impossible to figure out anything (might be a tv set for all we know)
