I get what you're saying, like it would be helpful in such a large decade-spanning event like the Epstein case to have some kind of master structure with categorization, links, etc. But discord isn't really built to function like that; it's a discussion platform. I think a comprehensive case file would be out of scope for this platform. That'd be better as like a document repository, a wiki, or something like that.

But it'd still need to have logical steps linked with supporting evidence from original sources, distinction between confirmed facts and speculation, and narrowed down to what facts are directly relevant. So at least everything posted here in discussion format should ideally have a direct link to original sources and be narrowed to relevant bits, to be helpful to people doing research.

I like to have a good idea who sent things and why before assuming the author of an email provided accurate information

I like to ask myself things like: Is the email referring to a report of testimony under oath? A casual conversation they had? Or is it notes from an unverified report that someone emailed to look into?

It appears a strategy to ensnare people into his network was to encourage really, deeply heinous things that people would have a predisposition to believe are simply too bizarre to be true. There’s definitely a certain crowd latching onto the most lurid details and reposting them in order to get their own attention/gain and exploit the situation, or because they enjoy traumatizing others.

I think that as coverage like this emerges, it will become more important to stop seeing the Epstein activity as contained to the individual. Note, this is not an encouragement to start accusing individuals or publically attributing crimes to them which would open oneself to legal liability. Rather, this was a system that included Epstein, but relied upon the coordination of his and others resources and abilities to point these activities have no break in continuity. A reason I bring this up is because we have seen many people react to the continued activity at Zorro Ranch as some indication he is still alive, rather than the more reasonable observation that his properties, assets, and employ were not wholly his own.

If ive said that in a manner confusing, I may say it more plainly; we may need to stop looking at this as merely the actions of the individual Epstein as he worked a system, but the actions of a system of which the individual Epstien was but one, admittedly outsized constituent.

Theres a way of articulating this nonsensationally from a more grounded point of view of records keeping.

These are years of documents that were provided with no documentation, which would be an early step in the intake let alone the actual investigation (date, description, source, metadata, etc). Their mere provision is certainly a well recorded practice for how to disrupt public opinion, but it by no means warrants the sort of presentation that furthers empowers the appearance of such practice as successfully obfuscatory and propagandistic as opposed to "managed incompetence".

it depends what you mean by "start". the cultural trope called blood libel dates back at least to the middle ages. many of the attributes qanon gives their baby-eating cabal arise from none dare call it conspiracy in 1971. the belief that adrenochrome specifically is being consumed is a reference to the 1998 adaptation of fear and loathing in las vegas.

Maybe it's just me, but this sounds like a string of circumstantial events with no clear connecting thread. There's no mention of whether anyone else could have access to the computer to do those searches or why Bank deposits would start in 2018 when she didn't start working in the special housing unit until shortly before Epstein's death. If they drew a link between those things then I'd say it was a well-written article but I don't see that link in this piece. I'm not saying it doesn't belong in here I'm just saying it doesn't read like solid reporting to me

I don’t disagree. I noted about the Guardian story in the other thread had a couple of weird decisions/ holes, and I think some of the story about the victim in Hilton Head is changing with new information being revealed. But noted on this story.

Considering some of the stories I've seen them publish this story does clear that bar, even if just barely, thing is, there may actually be a real story here but they haven't bothered to connect the dots or it's also possible they looked and there is no connection to the dots and they just decided to publish these with a grabbing headline. There's no way to know. I'd really like to see that computer forensics report in its entirety as well as the details of the bank records such as who the deposits were from. If those threads had been connected this would have been a really good story even if it didn't come to a conclusive proof as far as I'm concerned

Regarding Lutnick, as #maritime interested folks are aware, there are vessel location radio beacon data repositories. Data on Lutnick's charter vessel Excellence V for 23 Dec 2012 is available. It's not earthshaking, but the vessel didn't leave LSJ until ~10pm and was still within launch distance (St. John) the next morning.
