#misinformation spread by spiritual leader

shouldnt this be in general not off topic
its a specific topic so id argue it fits here
Hello! What is this about exactly? All I see is a video and some articles about his death in 2003. What is your question?
What kind of information and why is it still relevant over 20 years later?
Also, please always link to the source, so that people can verify or do further research.
And finally we have an entire channel dedicated to exposing disinformation. You can find it here: #disinfo-and-propaganda
So the former leader of a Muslim NRM made a claim that his interview with the British national newspaper the Sunday Times was astonishing that it caused the Newspaper to change their editorial practices as a way to recognize the Leader's greatness this was propagated for three decades as for the sources they're mentioned at the end of the video and thxs for mentioning about that specific channel but I would agree with somePotato
Still not discrediting what Subtle said as well. Main thing is that people interested in the topic might end up having to scroll a bunch to catch up if it was in #disinfo-and-propaganda instead of having it in here, since that # is for all things disinfo/propaganda, not strictly this topic
Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear: it is a rule in this server that you must link to the source of this video. Where on the internet did you find it?
As one of the moderators here, I am once again asking you to please add the link.
ohhhh, ok. Yea, you can safely ignore my prior comment
Actually I do agree that it's better in off-topic if it's about some dude who died 20 years ago saying they changed the title of a newspaper column because of him 40 years ago.
Alright
That's not the same video, is it?
The audio from the video was used
What I want you to share with the other members is the link to where you found that video.
Oh I made the video myself
Now we're getting somewhere! Next question: what do you want to achieve by posting it here?
Feedback on whether it can considered a piece of investigative journalism
