milestone: https://github.com/dagger/dagger/milestone/66
this release should hopefully have some big improvements to our cache usage, now that https://github.com/dagger/dagger/pull/8725 has been merged
i'd also like to get some improvements to enums in https://github.com/dagger/dagger/pull/8669 (hopefully the first of many)
cc <@&946480760016207902>
also optimistically chucking https://github.com/dagger/dagger/pull/8466 into the milestone, would be a very nice feature to get in ๐
also going to be making a pretty big change to the releasing - less tags flying around via https://github.com/dagger/dagger/pull/8755
tomorrow is release day ๐
@steady dirge @manic rose @quaint storm @next shale anything last minute we want in?
I have a very big PR in progress, currently making integration tests green locally but it's too big to be merge tomorrow
Going to start prepping now ๐ will send out the prep pr in a moment
prep pr merged, going for lunch - will push tags after i've eaten ๐
pushing tags now, let's see how this goes ๐
okayyyy - had a bit of a bumpy ride, some permissions errors ๐
thankfully, everything published!
@hot sorrel @craggy saffron should be good to upgrade daggerverse - let me know if i can help!
On it!

Re: automatic dgvs upgrades
https://github.com/dagger/dagger/pull/8684 I'll take this PR from Gerhard and push the missing things to get this done automatically!
thanks โค๏ธ
this is only the preview right?
is the automatic upgrade in scope of these changes?
docs are published as well!
Its "automatic". Based on my understanding it would create a PR, with a preview, that we can use to check everything is good. If it is then we just merge.
The real automatic of running integration tests and trusting that is not in scope for this PR
i'm confused, because the contents of https://github.com/dagger/dagger.io/pull/4031 don't have anything that would bump to v0.13.7?
having the preview env is certainly useful, but imo having an auto-generated pr to do the bump is what would really make make this whole thing easier
ah, this is the authoritative list: #1267816680763953152 message
Haven't checked the PR yet so I'm not sure. But my understanding of this initial iteration was to create a PR with the relevant changes ready. Maybe I'm wrong
