I'm imagining mage weapons powered by dark essence and range weapons powered by iron shards or something. I put this as seperate from the other post because there was no mention of mage weapons like wands, staffs etc.

As a concept, I agree, they would be awesome. But wouldn't they make combat easier, though? Boss fights? What do you think?

yeah talked with julian a while back and he talked about how that would alter the combat so much that it just isn't something they are looking at right now or maybe ever.
