for first builds its not that bad at all, love the idea of putting chimneys on the cars for the heating

try to confine your trains in a 5 block tall space

also you can press alt with train casing in your hand to get a whole new bogey menu unlocked

and tenders carry water as well as coal so for the realism i would just take the back blocks and replace it with just a solid 1 block wall representing water tanks

(dont actually put water tanks on it, they are really hard to work around and with)
