I assume you have copycat+ installed? if you use the half panel for the bottom and sides of the gangway connector and remove the entire layer above the side windows it would probably work better

that way you can still walk through it and by making the gangway narrower you wouldnt have to build that high to keep it in proportion

my barriers that work! With working wig wags and even bell chimes. Using a system of bundles and Computer Craft. Its all ran from the computer and and uses train observers. I'm not 100% happy nut i think its ok! Also including my 37, 47, 08, mk2's and 21 tonne. Also got other wagons but these are my best looking. All built with around 1:1 block = 1 m scale with slight compression on the locos to keep proportions looking right in Minecraft

Nice! May I make a suggestion for the barriers themselves? Either use copycat pipe for the bit next to the pivot and then use a bracket to connect it so it doesn't float, or (and I would lean towards this as the barriers are quite thin irl) use something like copycat steps/corner slices for the barrier to make it thinner. Other than that, looks great!
