#Displaced tracks

perhaps you could place displaced tracks by just holding alt when placing any track, would reduce inventory clutter
Yes please. And for those to be rotatable etc
this has been talked about in the dev chats before and pinned/put on hold
Alright

Just use copycat layers for now
You can make something that looks like a rail
Lol, shitting on whats most likely the best modded addon for builders xd
its literally framed blocks with a different branding
there is beauty in limitations
remove too many limits, and you lose the aesthetic
Framed blocks is a non minecraft mod, all the slopes corners and things arent minecraft tbh
it's significantly better looking and more visually interesting to see how people go forth despite the limitations and find creative ways to go around their problems
Also, framedblocks laggs like hell for me or used to and didnt work with cannons, since cc+ did it with cannons they now fixed it too xd
Copycats+ literally adds slopes
Exactly and cc+ limits more cause you dont have all the non minecraft options
Its, quite literally framed blocks, with a slightly different branding
Yea you can disable them, they were added cause people who didnt know how to build with blocks asked for them xd
Anyway, you stay with framed thats fine, youre just missing out on some layers to make nice looking rails ;p
Which one?
It isbt because there are way other blocks xd
Well i get that you dont like both of the mods, they do add more to mc shape wise so i do understand that
it adds too many options, which in turns LIMITS creativity
Must say, for atmospheric playerscale builds it is really nice
its like in pixel art. more colors isn't better, and quite often is worse
Heres an example of how it can improve
So many tiny details are possible
Better diagonal builds (that still remain mc scale without being 200x size)
Like slopes, yea shit, and slices well i use them cause i like to add details with it but they are also maybe a bit too non minecrafty
But the bytes vertical stairs and slabs are a godsend hahaha
vertical slabs and stairs i am cool with
But thats about it
copycat boards are okay in very specific usecases
Boards are like covers for pipes they are handy for that
Outside of it nah
Must say, the layers are really nice for making more roof angles
Without it looking too stepped
personally i use them for shading on megaprojects, or for elevator walls
copycat boards with stained glass inside for example
i do
most shapes are full blocks
but shading and color gradients in more player accessible areas requires more fine details
my megaprojects are often also survival bases
