Going the other way has no issues

Try getting rid of the curve and replacing it. If that current with try it again but also get rid of the two connection rails (straights on either side) and replacing all of it

If you go into Create's client settings, there's an option called something like "F3 Rainbow Track Debug". If you turn that on, then you can activate the F3 screen to see the nodes of Create's internal track graph - likely you have a situation like in my illustration where one of the straight segments extends slightly beyond the branch-off point
