Add a ramp/platform that can be added to doors

Basically, by right clicking a new “door extension” block on a sliding door, you can have a platform come out when the door opens. Image for reference:

I had a similar thought of making train trapdoors openable "normal" and "manually" like the doors

But otherwise it’s the same as a normal door
