Those are far easier to distinct and recognise what they are. Same can’t be said for the handcar. That and, a lot of mods don’t always follow that rule either.

Well issue is, this isn’t a boat nor a minecart. The main point is that at its current state, it’s an odd thing with its pixel art not doing it a favour of distinction over what it actually is, since there’s hardly information to gather what that is and is therefore, less distinctive and out of place especially for what it is. Even this server has the logo too, since I feel not that many people would recognise what the logo is if we had used the in-game icon too.

the server uses the model, as the create one uses the wrench model.. as do most discord servers of create addons

there is always the option to rework the icon art itself

I think that a bit higher res of the pixel art would be good. It would keep the style while giving it (hopefully?) more recognisable at glance detail.
