#New Whistles

whistles & general sound overhauls r things we're considering rn, main issue is figuring out where to source sounds from & how to properly make them feel like they fit within minecraft, since, up until now we've just used minecraft & create's sounds
I can see what I’ve got. I do content development for immersive railroading, have a decent sound library. If not I can talk to my buddy who can synthesize whistles pretty well
In terms of other sounds (I’ve seen diesel suggestions), possibly sounds from AngeTheGreat’s engine simulator. I’ve been privately testing making diesel idles and run sounds with an older version, and I believe (though I’ll double check) you can use sounds you create freely.
diesel horns r on the list, I have concept art done for em
I’ll see what I can come back to this thread with in the coming days, and what I can make “Minecrafty”
sick
Mind sending the art if you have it? I know for a fact I can look into sourcing sounds for that in the next week at most. I can probably make those.
literally just 2 goat horns on a horizontal create whistle base
Don’t have the art on hand rn
Hey all, apologies on the delay. I’ve finally got my audacity cooperating with me again and will be rolling forward on this in the coming days. Thanks for your patience! 😄
bumping so i can keep track of this, good luck!!!

Freesound: collaborative database of creative-commons licensed sound for musicians and sound lovers. Have you freed your sound today?
Thought I should mentions Create: Sound of Steam as an option for new whistle sounds.
