Dual and triple gauge tracks

since australian track gauges are absoloutely mcfucked, every state has a different gauge to the states next to it and horrible, cursed dual and triple gauge track arrangements exist for interstate services, which i think would be a "great" addition to the mod

Can't they just make it symmetrical instead of the horrifying mess in the left photo?

I think the idea is that this way they can fit 3 gauges into 4 rails

otherwise you'd need something like this (pretend it is symmetrical)

that might require rails to be too close together for turns to work well
