Title.

I'm trying to run currency-focused trade on one of my servers atm and I'm currently making it so enemies can drop coins/chests will contain coins via another mod that alters drop/loot tables.

Just needed to make sure the coins can't be dropped naturally/crafted/if there's a config option to disable that. I did check JEI beforehand and that doesn't seem to be the case at least, but I figured I should double check before I drop this onto the server.

it's made like that so admins can distribute currency in any way they want

well thats fine but you should very soon make em craftable with the previouse items so the splurs can be crafted by copper then u nned like some to make the next one

You should implement a command that automatically gives an amount set by an admin to each and every player that joins the game for the first time so that the injection of currency is fairly dispersed to each of thier personal accounts (applying retroactively once to past first joining of players as well). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could you also consder adding the following system via commands or such? In practice it helps encourages trading and disincentivizes hoarding and helps eliminate the need for inflation within a server economy...

I have learned of a system utilized in certain multiplayer servers the game Eco in which a "tax" is applied (flat, multiplicative, or exponential) in which ALL currency accounts are slowly drained over time and that currency is then given to a governing body and then fairly dispersed across personal player accounts. (Of course the "Governing Body" in this case would be the server itself but perhaps with a command this currency could also be given to a middleman account for the purpose of using such a system in a player-economy-based multiplayer server in which there may be such governments that may need funding for infrastructure and etc. (like the old MC townie plugin servers).
