Take a normal signal, but make it so that even players cant pass it if it is red.

Isnt this the idea of one of the new blocks?

#

like its a stopper, and it stops trains?

#

Joe can correct me if im wrong

#

anyhoo, if its not, then what im thinking of could be combined withother stuff to make this

I think that might work well with an AWS system (tautology lol) of sorts: If you pass a signal before a red signal, you hear some sort of warning sound

no what I mean is that its a normal signal, not always red but if it is red, it prevents players from passing. not a stopper, that just stops trains all day round

i think the best way to describe this would be something like TPWS, or more mechanically a "tripcock" system. basically if a signal is passed at danger or if a train is moving too fast down a bit of track the brakes are automatically applied and its brought to a stop. something like that?

#

its basically an automated safety device used on the real railway in an effort to diminish the results of overspeeds or SPADs, or prevent them entirely altogether
