I'm just gonna start it off with saying this won't happen

ancient ferry
#

impossible

nocturne cipher
#

does create even exist in bedrock

ancient ferry
#

no

nocturne cipher
#

lmao

#

also yeah no bedrock fucking sucks either way

#

aand it uses a completely diff coding language

ancient ferry
#

it uses json files

nocturne cipher
#

so we'd need to remake the mod from scratch p much

#

i think

copper oyster
#

and remake create

nocturne cipher
#

yep

tall herald
#

wtf is this suggestion kekw

#

bedrock addon's are far inferior comapred to mods

#

plus an entire other coding languge to port the mod too if it was to go through (also create not avaliable in bedrock anyway)

I think someone's tried to do it before but it's not nearly as good

spice bramble
#

bedrock is shit in addons

tall herald
#

The only good thing about bedrock is that you can render 128 chunks without tanking performance.

lapis hamlet
#

Distant horizons calming

tall herald
#

Distant horizons also tanks the pc preformance

#

It looks absolutely brilliant compared to distant horizons

torn mason
#

How does bedrock do it anyways?

lapis hamlet
#

Not a problem to render every block if non of em work kekw

copper oyster
#

and they had a pretty big team working on it since the start

tall herald
#

That can handle more shit thrown at it

still sucks ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Rant about bedrock:
||Performance, game mechanics, modifications, customization, monetization

  • Performance: Dogshit coding that's somehow less efficient than Java, I get a lower average fps (yeah 1% lows are higher in bedrock, but i can barely hit 60fps on a new world in bedrock while I can hit easy 200 in java with sodium and easy 70ish without sodium, server side performance is significantly better in Java even without lithium it's literally insane how bad bedrock is on windows 10, can't compare on other devices for the obvious reason that bedrock and java only coexist on windows 10 (which shouldn't be supported, windows 7 is perfectly capable of handling everything and is far superior to 10 in every way anyway)
  • Game mechanics: Basically everything that isn't a core function of the game is broken in some way, redstone barely functions, sure movable tile entities are nice but no tnt duping, no fun 0 tick or shortpulse mechanics, quasiconnectivity doesn't exist, basically no nice fun compact redstone is possible
  • Mods: Have to pay Microshit from both ends to create and obtain even a texture pack for bedrock on win10. Some are free yeah but something like 90% are paid, also a completely different codebase that makes porting java mods, even if it were theoretically possible given how different every single game mechanic is, completely impossible in any reasonable definition of the word (pretty sure even thunder will back me up here)
  • Customization/monetization: Every good customization and basically everything else is on marketplace and costs money, I already paid $30 for the game, why do I have to pay Microsoft more when they're not doing shit?||
Before anyone goes off on me about how bedrock is better because you can play on multiple different devices, there are java ports available for just about everything, and that's the only reason you would play bedrock anyway

I mean. If someone dosent like mods and they use a controller then I don’t think they care. As far as they know mc is mc

A friend of mine has checked the code of both, there is exactly nothing in common on a technical level lol

minecraft Java Edition running on all devices is a bit of a stretch tho

brisk scaffold
#

Not really
It's really quite simple since it runs on Java

copper oyster
#

I mean yea

#

but I did try Java edition on android

brisk scaffold
#

I know it's really easy on Android, i never said anything about playability

copper oyster
#

and it didn't perform as good as bedrock

brisk scaffold
#

Without a keyboard imo it's impossible

Bedrock for me preforms quite well considering I only allocate 2gb ram to it. Compared to Java which I have to allocate 8gb ram to make it work.

#

Bedrock may be a cash grab but it allows console, pc, and mobile compatibility which Java does not apply.

javascript does not = java

ancient ferry

spice bramble

bro the comment went from asking for a bedrock create to a frickin argument

copper oyster

Totally definitely real javascript
