What if there was a new type of rail that was 2x1 rather than 3x1? It would function the same as normal rails, but it would take up less room. And any train casing used on it would make mini Bogeys.
It would be both fun and useful to make mini trains, as you could build in a smaller space compared to the normal tracks.
I'm thinking of a "minecart" gauge, but it uses the Create rail system. This would be useful for smaller railroads when its a tight space. And besides, minecart contraptions are buggy as hell, so I think this would make a good replacement for minecarts in a way.
Adding Narrow Gauge, Wide Gauge and Dual Gauge in Create: Steam 'n Rails would make the mod stand out more.
By including different gauge options, players would have more flexibility in creating and designing their own rail networks, which would make the game more engaging and interesting for players.
Additionally, including narrow gauge, wide gauge and dual gauge options would also increase the creativity and replayability of the mod as players could create different and unique rail networks each time they play, which would keep the game fresh and exciting.
Overall, including Narrow Gauge, Wide Gauge and Dual Gauge options would greatly enhance the ingenuity and replayability of the game.

Here's a list of websites containing other track gauges I haven't mentioned:
please check if the idea was suggested before : D
So here is a fun fact the normal minecart rails are actually around the same size as some narrow gauge tracks in real life
yes xd minecraft is strange
Thought they were 3ft gauge because they cover almost a whole block wish is the equivalent to 1 meeter or about 3ft
the distance between the rails is much less than 1 metre
it is the difference between the rails that defines the gauge. Create's current gauge is a bit over standard gauge, so about 1.5 metre gauge (although having looked at it, it might be closer to 2 metres). And yet it takes up 3 blocks width total.
Yes, but it was so accepted that 1 block - 1 meter and I mean more so that you can build wider trains
