✅ - Amplify Gen 2 - Angular - Offline ?

Hey !
I'm trying to implement Amplify Gen 2 to handle my data storage, both offline and online, and to manage sync more easily.
My app is offline first (which will most probably change but the offline part is still a main feature of the app), but so far i have not been able to make anything work with Amplify in offline mode except for the update. Create and delete both return an error with GraphQL not being able to communicate with the server (which is normal as i'm offline).

So my question is quite easy : is it even possible to work with Amplify Datastore offline ?

Hi @proper lynx, DataStore is not supported in Gen 2. I would recommend a combination of Amplify and TanStack Query’s AsyncStoragePersister.

Thanks for the feedback ! Didn't know about TanStack. Sadly it doesn't seems to be much developped for Angular.
I've switched to using RXDB and so far it works pretty well for me so i'll dig deeper into that.

It's weird that Gen 2 is so much pushed in the front and yet it's not ready :/
