Yes, if by “layout is open” you mean another layout is enabled, you can use a loading requirement:

  1. Right-click the element.
  2. Select Loading Requirements.
  3. Add Is Layout Enabled.
  4. Enter the exact name of the layout.
  5. Set the requirement to Opposite.

The element will then be hidden while that layout is enabled.

Example:

  • Element: your button
  • Requirement: Is Layout Enabled
  • Layout: my_other_layout
  • Mode: Opposite

If the element is inside the same layout you are checking, it would be hidden permanently, because that layout is always enabled while it is loaded. In that case, use another layout or a FancyMenu variable instead.
