I found the docs path for layouts , now I’m checking the exact file placement/details so I don’t tell you the wrong thing 🙈

Heyy, that usually means FancyMenu isn’t reading the layout from the place you put it 😅

Try this checklist:

  • Put the layout in the right folder: config/fancymenu/customization/
    • for one specific screen, it needs to be inside that screen’s folder
    • for a global one, use the universal folder
  • Make sure it’s actually a FancyMenu layout file
    • the file should be a text layout starting with type = fancymenu_layout
  • Enable the customization for that screen in-game
    • open the menu bar with Ctrl + Alt + C
    • go to Customization -> Current Screen Customization
    • switch it to Enabled
  • Reload FancyMenu after adding it
    • Ctrl + Alt + R usually does that
  • If the premade layout uses custom images/fonts/etc, those files also need to be in config/fancymenu/assets/

Also: if the layout was made for a different screen, it won’t show up on the screen you’re testing it on.

If it still doesn’t show, send me:

  • the exact file path you put it in
  • the file name + extension
  • a screenshot of your config/fancymenu/customization folder

Then I can tell you what’s off 👌
