I’m checking the FancyMenu docs for the World Selection screen background setup now 🙂

Yep 🙂 For the World Selection screen in FancyMenu, you customize the background like this:

  1. Open the World Selection screen in Minecraft
  2. In the menu bar, go to Customization → Current Screen Customization and turn it Enabled
  3. Then go to Layouts → New → For Current Screen
  4. In the layout editor, right-click the empty editor background and choose Set Background
  5. Pick what you want, like:
    • Image
    • Color
    • Slideshow
    • Video
  6. Click Configure Background to set it up
  7. Save the layout

A couple quick notes:

  • This is done through a layout background, not by placing an element.
  • You usually don’t need placeholders for just a background.
  • Make sure you created the layout for the current screen, otherwise it may not show up where you expect.
  • For the world select screen specifically, background changes are fine even though it’s a scrollable screen.
