That sounds like a mod conflict / screen override issue, not a FancyMenu feature problem.

  • Test it with only FancyMenu + its dependencies installed
  • Make sure FancyMenu and its dependencies are up to date
  • If you’re using OptiFine, remove it — it’s incompatible with FancyMenu
