You can use either GIFs or FMA (FancyMenu Animation) files for your loading screen! FMA files are generally recommended over GIFs because they are more optimized and perform better.
You'll need to use an Image element to display the GIF or FMA file in your loading screen.
Please keep in mind that:
- Animations reload in the loading screen, so if the animation is too long, it will restart at some point. Short loops work best for this reason, as the restart is less noticeable.
- It is not recommended to use many frames at a high resolution with FMA files due to memory usage. A maximum of 200 frames at a resolution of up to 1080p is recommended.
- Drippy Loading Screen (the mod that handles your loading screens) is an addon for FancyMenu, so nearly everything that works in FancyMenu will also work in Drippy.
