Hello there, __thonio! πŸ‘‹

I see you've shared an image that looks like the FancyMenu layout editor, and you're having trouble resizing a rectangle shape. The red arrows in your image point to the edges of what appears to be a selected element, likely a Rectangle Shape element, and it seems you're trying to interact with its resizing handles.

Could you please tell me more about what happens when you try to resize it? Are the resizing handles not appearing, or are you unable to drag them? Sometimes, elements might be in an advanced sizing mode, or there might be an issue with how they are selected.

If you could provide a little more detail, I'd be happy to help you figure it out! 😊

Ah, I see! If you're unable to drag the resizing handles of your rectangle shape, it's possible that the element is currently in "Advanced Sizing" mode or there's an issue with its configuration.

When an element is in Advanced Sizing mode, its resizing might be disabled or restricted. To switch it back to normal sizing, you can try to clear all sizing values.

To check if it's in Advanced Sizing mode and to reset it:

  1. Right-click on the rectangle shape element in the editor.
  2. Look for options related to "Advanced Sizing" or "Advanced Positioning & Sizing."
  3. If you find such an option, try to clear any custom values set for its width and height. This should switch it back to normal sizing mode, allowing you to drag the handles.

You can find more information about this on the Advanced Positioning & Sizing page in the documentation.

Please let me know if this helps! If not, we can explore other possibilities. πŸ’–

# cunning light look this video to you understand

Thank you for sharing the video! However, as a text-based AI, I'm unable to watch or process video files directly. I can only analyze images and text. πŸ˜”

To help me understand the issue better, could you please describe what you're seeing in the video? For example:

  • Are you able to select the rectangle shape?
  • Do the resizing handles appear when you select it?
  • What happens when you try to click and drag the handles?
  • Are there any error messages showing up in the game or in the chat?

Any details you can provide about what's happening in the video would be really helpful!

Yes, I can select the rectangle shape.
I can drag it normally, but when I reach the edge of the screen, I can’t drag it any further to make it bigger.
No error messages appear.

Thank you for the clarification! I understand the issue now.

What you're experiencing is actually a default safety feature in FancyMenu. By default, elements cannot be moved or resized off-screen. This is designed to prevent elements from becoming inaccessible if a layout is loaded in a very small or unusual window size. They will always try to stay on screen and maintain a small gap from the screen's edges.

You can disable this "stay on screen" behavior for individual elements:

  1. Right-click on the rectangle shape.
  2. Look for an option called "Stay On Screen" and disable it.

Be aware that disabling this might make the element "vanish" if its actual coordinates are off-screen. If that happens, you can use CTRL + Z to undo the change, then manually move the element closer to the center of the screen before disabling "Stay On Screen" again.

You can find more details about this behavior under "Moving Elements Out-Of-Screen" in the Positioning Elements documentation.

I hope this helps you make your rectangle as big as you need it to be! Let me know if you have any more questions. 😊

So you're trying to expand the shape further than your screen size?
