Idk about y'all but the Glitchwave Nihil story seemed... to try to be emotionally impactful to the player but felt more like watching others enjoy an inside joke
It doesn't help that last night I played a really good example of a game with a 4th wall break to erode the boundary between you, the player, and the character who is self aware
here it felt like a...3.5th wall break
I guess to be fair 000 is trying to get to ||the concept of the Chief directly which is interesting|| but maybe my expectations for me to be directly addressed let me down more than the story itself

Is anyone in here in a society that tries to score higher during tide of ashes? During the last one the group I'm in only had me and 1 other person log in during the whole event and even though we tried our best I didn't get a lot of rewards. I just started the game in November so I'm hoping to get a higher score this time so I could get more of the s rank crimebrands. I really need some 🥹

My fave is 000 (started the game just for her!!) i've maxed out everything for her lol. i recently played rainburst and flora unfurl and even though Shalom has been a fave of mine just from how good she was for me as a unit playing those two events shot her up there with Hecate and Hella lol
