What do you do with all of the characters you've finished???? I haven't deleted a single file of finished saves, even though I'll never touch them again. But I have so many characters now that I have to scroll to see them all, and it's making my Keep It Organized brain upset. But I don't want to delete my finished saves.

How screwed am I 😅

We accidentally killed him in Alix, Roh & my's first multiplayer because the game glitched and thought we had stolen a spear, and there was a glitch where turning off Cull of the Weak also turned off non-lethal attacks, so we couldn't even knock him unconscious so he straight up died. Then we were evil this run.

Our first multiplayer Honor Mode was pretty glitchy. There was the issue with Halsin attacking us, Astarion being sent to prison in the Selunite temple THREE FUCKIGN TIMES?????, buying back Halsin's affection after we saved him because he was still "mad at us"???--lots of stuff happened that wasn't supposed to happen

On my first Honor Mode I also had a severe glitch in Act 3 where EVERY SINGLE NPC IN RIVINGTON ATTACKED ME FOR LITERALLY NO REASON!!!!!! and I had to pay off EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. I interacted with in Rivington until I was done with the area.

So as someone who struggles to handle DnD but has started a co-op campaign and wants to play through it solo at some point
how on earth do you deal with the sheer scale of things and the analysis paralysis
It's really cool to see the crazy amount of possibilities the game has but lordy it makes me nervous at times because I'm constantly afraid I'm missing something important or messing something up
Is there anything to do to help that or is that just a me issue I'm gonna have to git gud with

I think it's perfectly fine to miss out on things and get things wrong on your first playthrough. Once the game hooks you it's very likely you'll want to replay it and do things differently the second time around. It took me like 5 playthroughs to experience all the ways one can deal with a specific quest in Act 2. Sometimes if I want to see various outcomes I also just save and reload (if not playing honour mode of course 💀)

Just roleplaying your character can also help a lot I'd say

Read what both your and the enemies skills do and learn the system, then you can start caring about wether you're missing stuff

BG3 has an insane amount of replay value so just do what you feel works

BG3 has loads of quests, ways to do those quests, work-arounds for quests, etc. so that you get to choose how your player progresses through the story. You're going to miss stuff in every run, and that's ok. Part of the fun is going in again and learning something new that you missed the first few times

BG3 is also really great at letting the player find quests and magical items organically. Unless it's part of the main questline or a companion's questline, it won't aggressively point you towards something just because. For some quests there are hints if you walk by something (a Perception check, a random comment, etc.), others you can just be exploring and "oh hey, this neat thing is here, I wonder what happens if I-" and TADA new thing you haven't seen before!

I'm just not good at just doing the thing, y'know...there's some perfectionism that bleeds into it from the other parts of life
Like, picking a class can't just be "what do I want" there's the "am I picking a useful class" or "can I really afford to use X spell/ability" and the like
plus I'm also allergic to making the pixels sad so I don't wanna mess that up either

You're also not committed to one class! You can completely change your class if you want if you speak to Withers in camp (Withers either appears if you seek him out, or after a while he comes to you. You can't miss Withers assisting you).

You can change your own class, change your companions classes, etc.! You can also multiclass if you wish.

Started a Durge run and now I think it's cursed. There's a bug where every time I enter combat regardless of my character's location, this 'Harper' joins the battle and does nothing. The camera cuts to her everytime her move is up and she's no where near the actual fight!

Not only that, but if you play origin characters (Not a custom created TAV) and romance other origin characters, they have uniquely recorded dialogue that is specific to the origin character you're playing. Every actor basically had to record all the romance dialogue for every origin character inlcuding a custopm TAV.

When you go normal, learn a bit about multi-classing. That's where you can start off as one class, and bring in another class when you level up. You can mix and match all kinds of stuff

He called it a scroll of true resurrection and had a whole ass ritual to make it active so it seems to me like it's a rare and very powerful item

Gosh darn it. Karlach's|| date night bugged out. It occurs the same night as Wyll's pact with Mizora and I can't seperate the two. Karlach's prompt for a date night occurs evne if you don't meet her friend and if you sleep through the night without taking it, it disappears and never comes back.||

Oooph. Encountered another bug. When I asked Karlach who her lower city friend is, she'll identify your Durge/Tav as a handsome male when asked if you're a couple. But when I said nothing and just let Karlach catch up with her friend, she identified my Durge correctly. It's weird because even the subtitles for the male ident were for the female one.

I think she presumed that ||Dame Aylin|| in the print was a TAV, hence the question if you could romance her. Given the nature of the question, I presumed (and later confirmed) ||that she hadn't completed the Shar Gauntlet Temple yet. She hadn't even encountered Balthazar. Ooph. Definitely going to ask her what she thought of him||
