I like Fu Xuan being fast enough to put up her shield. I could use more Defense because I have her with Landau's Choice.
With Fu Xuan, always make sure her buff is up. If it's blinking, time to renew it. If a teammate blocked a control effect (Dominate, Enrage, etc), renew her buff. Her Skill fills up a lot of energy, so you might just use it for recharge.
Always make sure she has stacks of her self-heal (starts with one, gains one with Ultimate, can hold a max of two). If she has none, get her to ULT ASAP. If she has two, store Ultimate and don't use it until she flips (i.e. uses her heal).
Powerful AOEs WILL wear her down so be careful.
