Noobs questions

Hi Im new at Deej and in everything about Arduino.
I have some questions about how to start.
First:
There is a Noobs guide, to know how to start?
My basic questions are:

• What MCU is recommended to work with DEEJ without problem?
• Can I use Rotary Encoders like EC11 instead of Potentiometers?
• Is difficult to add 1 or more Screens (OLED ones) to my project to know what Im controling, and the exact number of the volume ? ( I realy mean, there is Preset Code to add in case you have a normalized Oled display as the SSH1106?)

I know a little about QMK or KMK for example that are firmwares for keyboards and There is a lot of documentation but I found very few doc of Deej or projects to copy/understand Deej. That's why Im asking for a basic guide. Thanks!!

Arduinos, depends on your prefered size but all of them work

Yes you can use rotary encoders

I think so

Also KMK is different from deej

because you just upload the code from the arduino, and the arduino will register serial numbers from your rotary encoders and then the deej app will read them to change the volume

KMK is all on the MCU

the Multiplexer is needed for all this displays ?

I think he/she ran out of pins from the arduino

its not required unless you run out of pins

Like an arduino mega would have all the pins in the world but it is so big

I love the concept of 5 encoders and 5 screens

but Screens are Expensive here 😄

ya, I think will try with just 1 screen by now, or something more small like 3 encoder, 3 screens

I think Encoders must be:
General, Discord, Games, Browser, Specific Software

another problem is ... that TCA9548A multiplexer is not on my country so I will need to import it and will be more expensive so... I prefer to buy a bigger arduino than the TCA9548A

yes, but I have around 10, 20 usd extra on shipping plus Custom Taxes... so I prefer to do things with whatever is already in stock on my country 😄
