Did you get it working before?

#

What board are you using

Gotcha, where is the folder with deej and the config located on your pc?

keen elk
#

keen elk

#

Oh

#

You're using buttons right

#

With the miodec fork

keen elk
#

I was never able to get the buttons working so I am using the original file not the forks

abstract sand
#

I would try a fresh config and just see if it even starts

keen elk
#

ok

abstract sand
#

Make sure you're not using the deej.exe from the miodec fork

keen elk
#

damn

#

that fixed it

abstract sand
#

Nice on another note what was wrong with the buttons

keen elk
#

im pretty sure I got the wrong board or I was using the wrong fork

abstract sand
#

You're suppose to use the miodec fork for buttons

#

It's the top stared fork

#

It has a custom config.yaml and deej.exe

keen elk
#

I thought about that fork but had a display connected to the arduino so i wanted to use the james one but it wouldnt ever upload properly

#

ill try the miodec

abstract sand
#

You can kinda frankenstein a bunch of arduino sketches together

keen elk
#

ah ok

abstract sand
#

Also yeah looks like the fork you mentioned the buttons are literally just for muting, no actual macro controls

keen elk
#

yeah thats what I was starting with but macros would be nice

keen elk
#

@abstract sand could i ask how I would go about adding the oled code to the miodec or vice versa

#

i did get the midec fork to work

abstract sand
#

Find a oled ino that you like

#

Then you should be able to move anything that just says button to their same section

#

In the oled ino
