I bought this chisps from aliexpress but the dont appear on the IDE as any COM, any suggestion or requirement before install IDE?

is there some specific way to determine if the cable is data cable or only supplies power?

There's these really cheap testers that just test for continuity alongside the pins.

But realistically just plug it in and find out yourself don't really need a entire tester for it
