You can get away without using female-male if youre plugging the board + pots straight into the breadboard

No you'll still need jumper wires
You just wont need female - male if youre using a like a nano with headers. Plug that into the breadboard along with the pots and you can wire it all with male - male

Yeah i have males i judt dont have female ones
(open the full album) you can do it on one breadboard too, but maybe with a bit less pots and less spacing between them
