Im using a breadboard and i was wondering what type of wires are needed i have male to male and female to female do I need male to female wires?

No you'll still need jumper wires
You just wont need female - male if youre using a like a nano with headers. Plug that into the breadboard along with the pots and you can wire it all with male - male

(open the full album) you can do it on one breadboard too, but maybe with a bit less pots and less spacing between them
