I am planing to work on a tool that allows students to use AI to increase their learning. Wheather it is generating custom quizzes, tests, chatting with school data, or even listening to lectures for you and making an AI chatbot of YOUR teacher that you can use to ask questions.

What are your thoughts on something like this? I've heard people say that ChatGPT is enough for learning, but I believe a much better AI tool can be created with learning specifically in mind.

What features should be in an AI study app? What tools/LLMs would you suggest?

Well First you would want to point out what level of education what specific subjects some are trivial like english or history other less so

#

So generally speaking it is easy to setup something like what you want through RAG process basically a model is used to answer specifically on some document.

#

You can hence provide a book for math as an example and ask question say on linear algebra which should give answers accordingly.

I think that a lot of the available models are powerful enough to do this (which means a lot less work for you). The real value comes in creating a user interface that is simple and intuitive. The easier you can make it for someone to generate quizzes, take notes, etc. the better.

and since you mentioned targeting high school kids, i think making specific AIs/chatbots for standardized classes (AP, IB, etc.) that are universal across the country could be a pretty good use case

Souds great, but am trying to understand whether you want to create a virtaul class room which would be always available any student can get into that class anytimr or a AI collaboration platform for both students and teachers where they can put their queries and get response.
