NLP final year college project ideas

Hey everyone, i need some guidance in choosing a nlp project as part of my final year project. Can someone tell me about good areas to explore I'll need to write a research paper as well.

I think @bitter shell would've had more suggestions regarding this. Personally, I'd ask why NLP? Is it actually something you'd want to look into further? Generally speaking, if it's something you're more interested in, you'd look much deeper and easily find implications to write about

so im a beginner in ml, and out of all domains i personally find nlp interesting, stuff like information extraction, sentiment analysis

however for our project, im finding it hard to zero down on one single topic that i will be given a year to work on

so any areas that's open and not congested already would be helpful

Yeah, I'm speaking to the same advice. Find something you're actually interseted in outside of machine learning, just anything in general, then think about how to apply NLP, then find out what in that specific area hasn't been explored. Since it's something you already have prior knowledge and interested in, you'll find that niche pretty quickly
