Eating around 200-300 calories above your maintenance calories should yield you some weight gains. Around half a pound. Go above that and you’ll gain more.

Why accessories?
If you wanna improve your strength on it increase your calorie and protein intake. Should easily get stronger on it after the first week
Also make sure you are progressively overloading the lift
And try and take it to failure as much as you can
You could also use a smith machine to put on more weight and not have to worry about the stabilization part of the lift
Well I’m progressing but like slightly below my weight target, whereas all my other lifts I’m hitting the targets
I’m doing GZCL
Don’t think personally you’d need accessory workouts. As you improve in other lifts, like bench press and shoulder press, this should also translate in an increase in strength of your overhead press
Everything muscle in your body isn’t gonna have the same muscle growth. A lot of reasons for this but mainly the ability to overload on weight is easier on some lifts than other. Like squat a bicep. Your leg muscles are a lot bigger than your arm muscle so as you train you should see faster growth in your legs just because it’s bigger haha

Well as long as you are eating more than usual should see some gain. If possible you should weigh yourself every Monday or just consistently on the same day 1 week apart. Just to see if you are going up, down, or staying the same in weight

Yep I am. It’s regular weight but for my body I appear a little bit skinny. I wanna get to like 170lbs at least, it would just be much easier to put on muscle mass that way

Do you guys breathe in and brace core during high volume sets too? Or only during heavy weight
For like bench/squat/DL
For each movement you should definitely have a good breathing pattern
Bench: breath in on the way down and breath out in the way up
Squat: same breath in on the way down and breath out on the way up
DL: breath in before pulling up
I think naturally breathing correctly your core will be braced
I prefer to inhale through the nose and exhale through my mouth
How do you do breathing when doing like 10 reps
Breathe in before each rep or like after 3-4 reps
Def after each rep
I would be winded trying to do 4 reps on one breath
So for bench
On each rep
Breath in on the way down and out on the way up for each rep
You’ll def be able to hit more reps if you have been doing 3-4 reps on a single breath

Yeah I’ve been doing weighted crunches to help with bracing core
And reverse curls to help with forearm strength
Rotate between weight and no weights for great burn on core
I always do that. Weighted crunch turned to weighted leg raises then immediately drop weight for other exercises like reverse crunches
